Why you should ... watch Doctor Who
Time-Travel, aliens, love, friendship, baddies, betrayal and a big blue box:
Doctor Who in a nutshell. Or should I say in a box? (Yeah, probably not that funny.)
If you haven't heard of Doctor Who then you certainly have lived under a rock for the past fifty years or so.
A classic British TV show that has been loved by generations. Once you've watched it you'll never look at angel statues the same way again. Or tally marks. And you'll understand all the references.
Why do so many people watch it? Of course, you have a lot of action; in shows like these it's vital for entertainment but that's not all it is. It makes you ask questions, philosophical ones, about genocide, about the worth of a single life, about sacrifice, friendship, love ...
It's absolutely fascinating how they come up with all the different plots and the idea of the regeneration was the first of its kind.
Sometimes, it's absolutely hilarious and you just can't stop laughing and lots of sarcastic comments will probably appeal to many.
Sometimes, it's completely and absolutely devastating and you just stare at the screen and can't believe that they did that.
But all in all, it's an absolutely fantastic series that is a must-see for everyone, regardless of their age, interests or gender.
